"Jughead"

I'm getting a bit weary with all this time travel business. I hope this show doesn't go the way of Heroes and send us all over the place in a confusing spiral this season!

I do like the plot thus far though. Racing to get back to the island.Trying to survive on the island. It's certainly going to make for great plot when the survivors come back. And what about Locke? I'm very interested to see how he comes back to life...but the Island does have mysterious healing powers.

Oh and also: the others speak Latins <-- Perdidos fun fact of the day.

I am a weapon of massive consumption.

It's another night of trying to decide what to do with myself.

Essentially it's like when you were a kid and would play those games to see who you would marry / where you would live / what profession you'd work / what type of house you'd have / how many kids.
For example: I'd marry Amy Winehouse, live in new jersey, work as a garbage man, live in a 1 bedroom apartment, and have 8 kids. (Not that that's my dream or anything, just that I always ended up with the short end of the stick in those games.)

However tonight's subjects are a bit different.

Who will I hang out with / where will we go / what drugs will we do / what type of mischief will we cause / how many people will I fornicate with

Sounds cool, right? Nah.

In reality I'll probably just end up going out to pick up Greek food and fall asleep around 10:30 reading The Shock Doctrine. An AMAZING book by the wonderful Naomi Klein. (Though you pesky conservatives wouldn't like it much, it's more reading for left-leaning folk.)

Tl;dr: I live an excitingly boring life.

How soon is now?

So I've had to drop out of college this semester because of California getting rid of my public transportation. I've no idea when I will be able to get back in. I guess it's time to get a real job and buy a car.

Yep, that's what I'll have to do...

Hey it's 2:22!

Manic Monday

Just another Manic Monday...

Heroes returns a week after tonight. That means I turn twenty-one a week from tomorrow! Superbowl is on Sunday too.

Not much else to say. It's not really a manic Monday...more of a lethargic Monday.

Adios!

The Pierces

Every now and then there's a band that pushes music to levels that a lot of people are not comfortable with. The Pierces are a band that could easily make it mainstream: if they chose to be another fish in the sea. I love their sound. It's very unique. Very 1920's or 1940's(I'm no music expert, sue me). I generally feel that the vast majority of today's music sucks. I don't like 98% of the stuff being slammed down our throats, but I do love The Pierces.

So please check them out.

Limey vs Yank(ee)

I was informed this morning that it is more offensive to call a British person a Limey than I was lead to believe.

I always thought it was one of those terms of endearment that are actually not offensive, you know, like calling an American a Yank, Yankee or whatever else can be made out of that silly word.

I am truly sorry for calling the one or two Brits I have ever met a Limey.

In exchange for my harsh language you can call me anything you'd like!

Really. I won't get mad. I promise.

28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes 12 seconds.

Before I turn in, watch Donnie Darko. It's a great movie, even though it's from 2001.

Just
Watch
It.

Good night!
